Ditch Show #42 Listings: Thursday 18th July - Wednesday 24th July

Thursday, 18th July
Cocos Lovers Album Launch @ Wiltons music hall. This is the launch of the third album of the folk band. Supporting acts include Arlet and Bawdy Beth Stratford. Music starts from 7:30 PM and tickets are from £10.


Writing Night! @ Genesis cinema. Three new pieces will be introduced to the audience that will then submit their feedback to the artists work. The iniciative aims to improve the writers' work and develop their skills. From 7 PM the judgement will begin! Free


Cockney Heritage Festival @ Idea Store in Tower Hamlets. This festival is organized by the Cockney Heritage Trust and Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives and celebrates and explores Cockney culture, past and present. From the 18th till the 27th of July a fully week of talks, film screenings, exhibitions, workshops are expected to get the community involved. Many of the activities are paid or have to be booked so check the website for all the details.


Friday, 19th
St Katharine Docks Good Food Market @  St Katharine Docks. Sunny days ask for outdoor activities so why not check out the Food Market? You can try great quality food from all over the world (from Turkey to Portugal...) Opening times: from 11 AM to 4 PM and free.


Saturday, 20th
Matsuri in London @ Dalston Roof Park. From 3 PM it's all about Japanese themed cinema, music, performances, drawing classes also Japanese street food, and cocktails. Tickets are gone, you must queue to get in.


If you don’t manage to get in you can always...

...head to the 10 degrees - Bath Spa University’s exhibition @ Red Church St. gallery. Photography exhibition in various themes: architecture, documentary, fashion, portraits. etc. From 10 AM to 6 PM daily and free.


Sunday, 21st
Border Film Series @ Museum of London Docklands. Screening of District 9 followed by discussions with a panel of experts. From 2 PM and free.

Monday, 22nd
Motto @ KK Outlet in hoxton square. Display of books that are part of this German bookshop for the whole month of July. Books about design, photography and other artistic areas as well as limited editions, rare finds and limited print runs from several artists Motto has worked with will be displayed at the Oulet. Check their website for the opening times.
