Thursday, 11th July
Stranger @ the Flowers Gallery. Exhibition that promotes self-portraits as an important part of artist's creative path. In the gallery there are displayed several styles  but you can also find different approaches in this exhibition that runs till the end of August. Opening times from Tuesday to Saturday (10 AM to 6 PM) and free entry.

Friday, 12th 
Dances performances @ Richmix. "Every way up has It's way Down" and "Let's get angry" are part of this night of spoken word and dances from 7:30 PM. The first one focuses on the adaptation of people from a Jewish background  into an east London lifestyle. The second show depicts the life of a teenager and aims to get the public involved in the sense that they will also remember their teenage years. Tickets are £10.

Spirit of '45 @ Leytonstone library. A free documentary about the postwar era in the UK focusing on the spirit of community. The screening starts at 6:30 PM.

Saturday, 13th
Freak Flags @ Rough Trade East. Instead of going to the venue to listen to music, why not going to see some creative paitings? The american's CMRTYZ  exhibition depicts ways of freedom through flags and aims to get a positive vibe of the people who visits it. Free exhibition but for opening times check the store's website.

Not For Rental happens @ 71a Gallery. One week charity event that has film screenings, talks, workshops and aims to raise awareness and support for important issues by Macmillan Cancer Support and Art Against Knives. Showcasing in the exhibition there are some of the best and emerging creative talent in art, street art, illustration, design, photography. This is the last day of the initiative that is free.

Acoustic sessions @ Boxpark. Free event showcasing emerging and talented performers from 1 PM till mid-afternoon.

Monday, 15th
ILLLDN @  Richmix. Group illustrations focusing on  sketches about daily life in London as well as funny observations and fashionable urban portraits of the city. The exhibition runs till the end of the month and has free entry.
